Siddapura is a village in the Kundapura taluk of Udupi district. The dam built across the Varahi River is nearby. There is a temple of devi Bhuvaneshwari, situated near Gunjagodu.It is about 25 kms from Kundapur.There is Varahi river powerplant situated about 5 kms from Siddapur.It is a typical south canara vilage,where it is very hot during summer and heavy rains during Monsoon.Agumbe is about 30 kms from Siddapur.Nearest railway station is Kundapura.Connectivity is pretty good.It is mainly a brahmin community dominated area. Anegudde temple is 32 kms from Siddapura.It is famous for Lord Ganesh.
